My journey into storytelling started in my teens when I was obsessed with creators like IHasCupquake and LDShadowlady. That love for gaming eventually pulled me into movies and TV, and before I knew it, I was chasing stories wherever I could find them.
I ended up studying a Screenwriting BA (Hons) and graduated with first class honours. Since then, I’ve developed projects with production companies in the UK and Spain, and worked on the programming team for the Suffolk Shorts Festival where I watched and analysed 170+ short films.
Basically, I love story. But I also really love research.
During my degree I discovered that I adore essay writing. When I realised that YouTube scriptwriting lets me combine research with storytelling, it just felt like the perfect fit.
Now I get to help creators make thoughtful, engaging videos that encourage audiences to think more deeply about the media they consume. And that’s a total win-win.
When I’m not writing I’m sorting my massive tea collection, playing an underground indie game, or knitting up a new sweater.
The name Sirena comes from the Spanish for siren which is a nod to my nationality and to the pull that all great stories have. My mission is to help creators achieve consistent quality with scripts that prioritise authenticity.
As a freelancer, I know first hand that wearing every hat is exhausting, specially when the quality of your work matters to you. I’m here to reassure you that it’s possible to create amazing content, without burning out.
More than anything, I take authenticity and credibility seriously. Like many Gen Z kids, I grew up on the internet so I know how misinformation can spread like wildfire. This is why I always prioritise acurate research, and meaningful substance in my work.
